Best regular season manager we've ever had. I still need to be sold on him during the postseason though.

i blame all post season failures on the players.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
90% players, 10% manager. Pitching Dempster game 1, hitting Fuk #2, taking Z out early in game 1 in 2007 etc etc are all on Lou. All I'm saying is that he hasn't put is in the best situation to succeed when the season ends. The players deserve the majority of the blame, but Lou hasn't helped.

Lilly was wasted on the bench too.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

Poor Carmen Pignatiello is pumping gas now because he could throw strikes for Lou.

Playing Fuk at all was a large mistake.

He signed a minor league deal with the Twins this past March. Not sure if he was let go after ST though.

I always liked to see that guy pitch; his delivery was even more bizarre in person.

So... is Marmol the closer now? Both guys were rested today.

I like that he used him against the heart of the order. If those guys came up in the 8th, I'd want Marmol then. If it was 6-7-8 or 7-8-9 in the 9th, then use Gregg.

But I don't know what Lou is thinking. Hopefully he's thinking what I'm thinking.

I think Marmol was warming up while it was 7-6 then Lou just decided to stick with him when Soriano hit the homer, instead of getting Gregg warmed up.

You mean to say that you hope Lou is thinking that while painful and embarassing when put on the internet, anal clown sex can be a zesty and invigorating activity?
