Unless Lou didn't want him pitching back to back games, it's just retarded. He pulled this same shit all the time last season too.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Well you pretty much gave the answer. He doesn't want to fall into the habit of using him anytime there's a tough situation. Lou needs to find out how guys like Cotts, Guzman, etc. are going to be in those situations so as the season goes on we have more than just Marmol when the going gets tough.
The thing you need to remember is that all Cardinals fans and all White Sox fans are very bad people. It's a fact that has been scientifically proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. Being a Cubs fan is the only path to rightousness and piousness. Cardinal and White Sox fans exist to be the dark, diabolical forces that oppose us. They are the yin to our yang, the Joker to our Batman, the demon to our angel, the insurgence to our freedom, the oil to our water, the club to our baby seal. Their happiness occurs only in direct conflict with everything that is pure and good in this world.

Bradley's IsoD is .357. Someone's going to need to bring KB a change of pants.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

Lou admitted he screwed up last night, but he made the right decision bringing in Marmol this time.

Marmol should be pretty much used exclusively in close games. For me a 4 run game in the 8th inning doesn't qualify.

Hmm... Guzman or Gregg? I'd have Guzman start the inning with a 5 run lead.

That's a pretty close game, it's 1 run from a save situation the following inning and in a hitter's park against a team that has 5 homers tonight. He hadn't pitched in 2 games and we don't play tomorrow.

And he didn't pitch yesterday. He should have, but he didn't.

Right, he should've been used last night, but since he wasn't, he was used tonight. If Heilman hadn't thrown 2 straight days, he'd have probably been in tonight.
