Fontenot did bat .333 vs LHP last season with a .417 OBP, granted, it was only 21 ABs. His career numbers are much worse though.

I don't like having a lineup that is so righty heavy. It doesn't change a lefthanded pitchers approach and allows him to get comfortable throwing to the outside part of the plate. Just my two cents.

That's true, and that's exactly why we needed to get more left-handed for right-handed pitching.

I'm glad to see Fontenot get the start since its the 2nd game of the year and since he was 3 for 4 yesterday. I assume against tougher pitchers and when we get further into the season Miles will get most of the starts against lefties though.
