Nick Cage stole 2 hours of my life that I want back. What a shithouse movie. It started off good, suspense was there but the ending was crap. Nearly as bad of an ending as the latest Indiana Jones.

Yeah early on it looked like it might be pretty good but the ending was horrible..

I'm not sure I can think of a movie that he's been in where this isn't the case.

He's been in a whole lot of shitty movies, but there are some good ones on his resumé, too.

All good ones, and Red Rock West is a little known gem. Also, I know they were just stupid b-movies, but Face/Off and ConAir provided lots of laughs for me when they came out. That said, it's true that Cage has been on a horrible streak of movies, but he's been getting paid.

I liked Face/Off a lot when I first watched it, but it hasn't held up for me -- it seems way too hokey now.

That's why I like it. Unintentionally bad, or maybe it was intentional.

Speaking of Nicholas Cage movies: I watched Amos & Andrew (1993) for the first time a couple days ago and had a few good laughs. It has Nick Cage and Samuel L. Jackson, as well as a few other well known people. It's a pretty cheesy movie, but somewhat funny as long as you don't take it too seriously.

"face/off" is a classic. "wild at heart" is one of my all time favorite movies. "8mm" was underrated.
and i shit you not, "valley girl" may be the best teenage titty movie of all time. i knew he was gonna be a star when i saw that. "the rock" and "con-air" were good action flicks as well.

I forgot about The Rock. I liked that one. I've never seen Valley Girl.

Valley Girl is very dated, but it's a nice time capsule movie. I enjoyed it.

Yeah I guess I've just seen all the shitty ones and not any of the good ones. Leaving Las Vegas I think is the only one of those I've seen, and that was a good one. Every other movie I've ever seen with him has sucked, especially those God-awful National Treasure Movies.

Bringing out the Dead is Scorsese and Adaptation is Kaufman. When he picks good projects, he's fine. He just hasn't been very selective over the past 8 or so years. I guess he has bills to pay...

I liked The Weatherman
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy
