Has anyone seen this yet?
I have plans to see it this coming week and just wanted to get an idea of what its like.
I cant wait to see Marissa Tomei strip.
A herd of buffalo can move only as fast as the slowest buffalo. When the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.
In much the same way the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Check out "Before the Devil Knows Your Dead" for some quality naked Marisa Tomei. Good movie too.
I'd like to see the Wrestler too.

My brother saw it a couple of weeks ago and said it's fantastic. I can't wait to see it.

Great frickin' movie. And Marisa Tomei probably has about 30 minutes of screen time -- at least 2/3 of that time she's nekkid.

I saw it two days ago, and it was okay. I had really high hopes because of what I had read and the reviews from my friends, but it didn't overwhelm me.

I thought it was really good. It probably hit home a little more with me because I grew up a huge wrestling fan and I've seen the documentaries that show how realistic this sorta shit is. There are a lot of old wrestlers that pretty much are the Mickey Rourke character in this movie.
Rourke is just fantastic though, definitely the best I've ever seen him.

I haven't seen it, but my guess is that this isn't a "wrestling" movie.

I don't think it would make a difference. There is very little actual wrestling in the movie. I just think the reality of his situation registered strongly with me because as a former wrestling fan I know how many guys there are out there like this.

This might be deserving of its own thread.
<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Mickey Rourke has received critical acclaim for his comeback role in “The Wrestler,” where he plays a former pro wrestling legend who falls on hard times.
And on the red carpet at the 15th Annual SAG Awards on Sunday night in Hollywood, the actor revealed he’s about to get in the ring in real life.
Rourke will be participating in WWE’s “Wrestlemania 25” in Houston on April 5. “The boys from the WWE called me and asked me to do it,” Rourke told Access Hollywood. “I said, ‘I want to.’ I’m talking with [WWE legend] Rowdy Roddy Piper about it.”<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->And when he does jump into the ring with WWE, it appears the actor may already have his sights set on an opponent.
“Chris Jericho, you better get in shape,” Rourke added. “Because I’m coming after your a**.”<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Just in case you Rourke fans were going to order Wrestlemania (doubtful, I know), it sounds like he's not going to do it now, at least according to his publicist.

I saw it and thought it was good, Rourke was amazing. The film itself is a little slow, it's very much a character study sort of thing, and honestly I didn't think Marissa Tomei was that amazing in it, stripping aside. She was good, but there wasn't very much to any of the characters except Rourke's. But I am glad I saw it. It's a really cool film because it's about such an over the top sport and yet it's really carefully paced and muted. Not a lot actually happens in the movie, but every scene really holds your attention, it's cool.
