White Sox
When you lose AJP, you know you've hit rock bottom.

Ha, for sure. Sort of like if Trump lost Kid Rock.

Compared to when AJP is on your side, you have to really question, “What the hell went wrong in your life and how quickly you can make major changes to your life’s trajectory?”

Sox fans have been pretty silent these past couple of years, as they should be. Just read that all of the Sox, Hawks and Bulls games will be moving from NBCSN Chicago to Stadium at the end of the season. Can’t imagine that will be good for their businesses long-term, but then again no one is watching them anyway.

Bulls too, eh? Interesting.

I'm pretty close to shifting my baseball energy to following the race to 121 losses. It would've been better if they traded Crochet, but they're currently on pace to achieve this monumental task. If they stay focused, I think it can happen. They're currently on an 18 game losing streak, which is really impressive. If they can bring LaRussa back I think they would have a lock on the record.

A buddy of mine’s son is in the Sox organization. He thought it was his dream job when he got it as his first job out of college. Now a few years later, he’s trying to figure out how to spin the position to other employers. Of course, I blame his parents for raising a Sox fan

That's funny, just last night I was having a beer with a neighbor who wanted see if there's interest in going to one of those last few games to witness 121st loss and was even willing to go to Detroit if necessary. He's a sox fan.  I told him I'd be interested.  He knows I'm Cubs fan, but doesn't quite know the depth of my hatred for the sox and has no idea of how much I just want bask in all of that delicious sweet schadenfreude.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

Remember when a lot of us here were envious of how successfully the Sox rebuild had gone back in 2021? I was not one of those people.
