Cubs are playing some good baseball. Yeah, it’s been played against terrible teams. Playoff teams beat the hell out of bad teams and play close to 500 ball against good teams.

Other than some sloppiness against the Sox, the Cubs have produced in all aspects of the game over the last week including: starting pitching, relief pitching, infield D, outfield D, hitting for power, hitting for avg, and hitting with RISP.

It’s surprising that they have pulled together and produced some solid wins

I don’t know what’s real anymore.

I’m just enjoying it all for now. The fact that this is coinciding with hilarious collapses by both the Sox and Cards and their fans just makes it even sweeter. That said, I fully expect things to go sideways after the trade deadline.
