Cub Game Comments
Cubs lose another series, setting up what seems like another must win or become sellers series against division rival Brewers

My expectations for this roster have never been high but have gotten really tired of small market l, low budget mentality must be competitive by trade deadline or trade away any roster valuables that aren’t locked down by non trade clauses or underperforming players with bloated contracts.

BTW could Cubs trade Suzuki? What’s the value for a high avg, low power, corner outfielder with a great work ethic with a decent paying contract who seems to get injured when he’s on the cusp of performing to expectations?

Suzuki isn’t getting traded.

Yeah, nobody wants Suzuki. That contract is looking like a huge mistake.

Another stupid loss. At what point is Ross's job at risk?

I’m not saying this because of the current situation and he’s not fully to blame, but I always hated the hire.

Always hated as well. I really hope they end the experiment after this season, if not before.

Might have been the worst game this season - hopefully it will be.

Only if Jed and Hawkins are fired first, which I’m kinda hoping is the case after 3 consecutive sell offs and no clear organizational direction. Next Great Cubs Team my ass.

Most people just don’t get it. It’s all about the Cubs ‘long term, sustainable success’.

What a royal, croc of shit!

I think the jury is still out on Hawkins, I think it’s Jed that needs to go.

Cubs snatched a win out of nowhere

They were set up to get bounced with Brewers scoring 2 runs in 8th and 9th but Cubs came through with some nice D and plated run late for the win
