Glad that Morel is with Cubs as his swagger and performance likely antagonizes other teams’ fans. The kid has serious power 429 ft HR to CF after hitting a 422 ft HR to CF a few days earlier. Nice.

Another tip of the hat to Gomes with another critical RBI in this game.

It's a completely different team with Morel and Mervis in the lineup every day. That said, this team is 1 middle-of-the-order bat and 1 lock-down reliever away from being a serious contender.
