Wow.  This is some serious meatball nonsense.

I remember when I learned new things about baseball from Stone. I think hes spent too much time around Harrelson. So high on TWTW factor, its off the fucking charts.

Also: "The trick to winning the Cy Young is to have 25 wins when the guy with the better ERA, more strikeouts, fewer hits, and fewer walks in more innings pitched has only 2wins." (That would be Mike Norris, the pitcher who should have won the AL Cy Young instead of Stone in 1980.)

Is their plan to sign every free agent available this year?  It's like that guy who got paid and is planning to blow his entire paycheck at the bar that same night.

Like the Cubs did for a few years then apparently went broke?

A perfect fit.

Their strategy is odd, spending just to spend seems like a bad way to go about this.

I mean, they've gotten shit for years for not spending and I think nows a good time..but signing a bunch of designated hitters is a strange way to go about it.  I guess my point is, spend now that you're getting close to competing, but why not wait on spending that money in the next few years if  better options will be available?  The immediate spend now is strange...and now they're looking at Puig?  Lol.

This plan has KW written all over it. He was waiting for this moment to show everyone who is really in control over there.

That was my thought exactly.  I'm shocked they didn't sign Donaldson, he seems like the most Kenny Williams target that ever Kenny Williams'd.
