With Colorado having designated him for assignment Wednesday, 33-year-old shortstop Jose Reyes will soon be looking for a new home, and the scuffling White Sox are a team to watch. Chicago already released one veteran shortstop, Jimmy Rollins, earlier this week. His replacement, 22-year-old prospect Tim Anderson, has gone 9 of 34 with four extra-base hits, nine strikeouts and no walks.

KW pulled that 3 year plan out of his ass when things went south 2 years ago. 

 

I had fun with the family today. I had the Sox game on with the sound off, while we were doing other stuff around the stuff. When they lost, I replayed the last play for them, and let them listen to the sounds of silence as Hawk failed to actually announce the game winning hit for about 10-15 seconds. My wife was actually giggling, and the kids were truly bewildered. "Isn't he supposed to be announcing?"
