It looks like at the beginning of this series the Brewers hitters looked themselves up and down in the mirror and said "Oh shit, we really aren't this good."

Oof, can't believe the Rays getting eliminated early again.

Not that I would have any rooting interest, but it would be kinda cool to see Schwarbs and KB in another WS. There, I said it.

I watched the Giants/Dodgers game and Red Sox/Rays games yesterday. I've always liked the Red Sox and felt somewhat of a kinship with that fanbase, and so I always sort of half-heartedly root for them when they're in the playoffs. And it's been fun to see Schwarber succeed and be embraced there. But I just can't bring myself to care enough to get fully invested in any other team's success. It feels hollow. I'll still watch most of the postseason games just because I love baseball, but...I don't know. When/if the Red Sox or Giants get bounced, I won't care that much, either.

Like I said, I have no rooting interest, but just as a fan it would be a small moment of nostalgia to see them both competing in a WS again.
But very true, I don't understand these weirdo Cubs fans still crying over these players no longer being with the organization. I was so done with this core, going on 3 years, and beyond ready to move on.

Maybe the Astros aren't as good as some believe? Also Dusty.

I love me some Carlos Correa. Someone tell him the C on our ball caps stands for "Carlos."

Correa is good - yeah, there’s a news flash.
Rodon pitched him all break balls in first at bat then turned around and pitched 3 straight fastballs in second AB - with bases loaded. Correa seemed off on first 2 pitches then sent the 3rd straight fastball into LF for a 2 run double.
