Kimbrel is awesome.  I love that guy.

LaRussa is still one of the best in-game managers out there.  They're so lucky to have him.  Between him and Dusty, that's a virtual chess match going on out there. Woo boy!

Kimbrel still has one more year on his contract, right? Hope he doesnt get totally fucked over by the Sox. So weird about his Cubs/Sox splits, but I havent looked at the difference in usage.

Butch, totally agree about the fault lying with LaRussa, or at least the most significant part lying with him.

Wasn't this supposed to be a plug-and-play roster for LaRussa? This is all quite hilarious. And satisfying.

KB is locked in tonight. 3 for 3 with a HR.

It hurts. A lot.

Eh, he would have been watching the playoffs from his couch like the rest of us had he remained a Cub. I don't see KB sticking with the Giants past the postseason, so good for him.

I enjoyed watching him last night. I'm kinda hoping he does some serious damage to the Brewers if opportunity arises.

He shouldve been a Cub for life.

Schwarb looked like my avatar, Boomer Scott, on that last pick. (the pick and flip to Eovaldi for the out)

I don't care for Boston baseball. But, I'll root for Kyle even if he's traded to the 4th seat on a Blue Origin rocket to sit next to Bill Shatner.

Spoiler: If you click the link, you will miss him even more--the big goof.

So much for the Rays running the table.

Red Sox are definitely playing the Rays tougher than I anticipated.
