Tepera (and eventually Chafin) has been so overused, I figured he'd start to be less effective. His last couple of outings haven't been great. But our starters can't go more than 5 innings, so I'm not sure what Ross is supposed to do.

Honestly, I'm not sure how our record is as respectable as it is. Looking at the lineup and rotation, this team should be well under .500.

There's still plenty of time for our record to match the overall level of performance on the field. It's difficult to win even a shitty division with only 1 strength (bullpen), and especially if you lean on that weapon to the point of exhaustion. The next 2 weeks are going to dictate not just whether we are buyers or sellers, but what trade pieces (if any) the real contenders would even want from this roster. There's not a ton of value to trade from regardless.

Disagree. There are valuable pieces of roster on this squad. Its most likely not a roster that can compete in the playoffs but should be able to win the NL Central.

Unfortunately, doubtful that Cubs can / will get value in return for its assets in return

Maybe he's a pitcher who relied on using some kind of substance? I was wondering who in our pen would be hurt by the new rules. Definitely hope I'm wrong, I definitely might be. But he doesn't look like the pitcher he was before umpires started checking pitchers.
