White Sox
Quote:In fairness to LaRussa, no one in his coaching staff knew the rules of the game either.
I didn't see that, this is exactly what my buddy and I discussed.  Did none of his staff know either?  That's fucking weird.

Listened to Mully and Haugh on the Score this morning and they were discussing a Bryant to the White Sox trade with Gordo.

For the record, none of them thought it would happen, but the discussion alone kind of turned my stomach.

No.

Bryant will be going somewhere soon enough - unless he gets injured - but don't see him with the Sox unless they are willing to turn over every prospect in the Sox organization and a couple MLB players.

Sox are only a couple games ahead of 500 and Cubs are a game under. Listening to fans, you would believe the Cubs are 15 games under 500 and Sox just beat Twins, the Yankees and Red Sox and are about to start the World Series

Duffy for Giolito, they listening?

The narrative has definitely been written that the Cubs are terrible and the Sox are an absolute juggernaut. It may end up playing out that way as the season progresses, but right now I agree -- they aren't all that different (at least in terms of records). The Sox do have a scary-good rotation, though.

Wouldn't hesitate to send them good old Joc Pederson for remaining cash on his contract and a bucket of water logged BP balls.

Certain that LaRussa could use another old man in the dugout with him to curse out all the millennials on the roster.

Unfortunately with the Angels release of Fat Albert, I could imagine LaRussa bringing in Pujols to the Southside rather than giving Joc a try. .

The old man probably still has some magic dust leftover from the good ol days.

Oh man...bringing Pujols to the White Sox would be such a Reinsdorf/LaRussa move. Please let this happen.

lol yes it would

Please, no more crosstown trades.

And that Pujols-LaRussa reunion needs to happen immediately. I hope they actually have to give up a prospect in the deal also.

Unfortunately, could imagine Fat Albert having an insane day at Wrigley with something like 6 RBIs - which would represent all of his RBIs for the Sox

Imagine throwing your own player under the bus to that degree.

I think it's hilarious.
