Warcraft 2 was a great RTS. Maybe the best RTS campaign I've ever played.
AOE2 sucked up a lot of hours as well, but I haven't gotten through an RTS since AOE2. I played through the campaign of Warcraft 3, but not all of the expansion. Empire Earth never did anything for me. I was intrigued by Rise of Nations when it came out, but I still haven't played it.

I still remember seeing an ad in PC Gamer for a new game called Warcraft. So I called the 800 number and it was an answering machine with an Orc voice that asked for your address so they could send you the demo on a floppy. The game was pretty great for the time, and of course Warcraft 2 was off the hook. First game I ever bought on CD ROM.

Red Alert 2, AOE 2, and Total Annihilation were my RTS games of choice growing up. Rise of Nations was also very good.

It's no surprise, but both MLB and NBA rule on PS4. Looks like I'll be set for awhile.

All I needed was a look at the new Zelda. Looks beautiful. A new Star Fox, Mario Maker (think Mario Paint...but you design Mario levels), Splatoon (a insanely fun looking shooter from Nintendo), a sequel to my favorite Kirby game, lots of new Smash Bros looks and info, Hyrule Warriors looks decent too (think dynasty warriors + Zelda). They had some more mature looking showings too, with Bayonetta 2 and The Devils Third.
There was more. That's just what got me the most.
