Diamond was sent down for someone else. Casey Close? I think. But I've heard Samardzija is working on a new pitch. Maybe they're getting him some experience with it prior to a Sept. call-up. Just a guess.

Diamond is in the bullpen and Casey Coleman is in the rotation now. I think each role suits each player more appropriately personally.

Should we be paying attention to Brandon Guyer or Tony Campana? Both guys are having pretty damn good seasons at AA. I am much more intrigued by Guyer though.

I actually know a kid named Tony Campana who is also 24. I just confirmed that it is a different guy, which is a relief because he is a ginormous douche. This one still probably sucks though.
