So I've been talking to my friend today who is Mexican, and we talked about the problems with both teams, the US and Mexico. Mexico lacks a midfield and a goalkeeper, and we lack a forward and a defense. So we decided that a fantasy merger of the US and Mexico National teams would actually create a really good side. As disgusting as it would be to take, it actually would solve both teams' problems. Imagine this:

Tale of two halves. Brazil was definitely rattled, and they didn't even come close to scoring in the second half. If the Dutch could have simply put the ball on net, it could have been 5-1 or 4-1 pretty easily. They were in all alone three times and couldn't get a shot off.

Don't want to downplay Uruguay, but I don't think they're strong enough to take the Dutch...assuming they get past Ghana.

Same here. I love everything about Germany except for their national football team. So fucking annoying. I really thought their core group would be too young to succeed this year. Wrong.
