Josh Vitters sucks and will never amount to anything.

Now go.

Maestri really sucks. I can't imagine the organization will have much patience with him.

And Diamond keeps begging for a call-up. I'm kind of surprised that Atkins got the call and not him.

Who is this Samardzija guy? He looks pretty good.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

Honestly, if we go in full sell mode, I would have no problem if Shark was put into the rotation and left alone to see what he could do with regular work. If he pitches like shit then fine, but at least find out what he could do in the rotation for 3+ months.

I could actually get on board with that idea.

If we went into sell mode, I see no reason to not have a rotation that included Shark, Cashner, and Sean Marshall. Let's give them the ball, and see what they can do.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

Sean Marshall belongs in the bullpen. He's a very good reliever, but an average starter that won't go more than 5 innings usually. I agree on Shark and Cashner though.

And if you are going to put Cashner and Shark in the rotation you might as well call up Jackson. Seriously, I would go all young and just let these guys play and see what happens.

Jackson in the rotation before Samardzija.

Also, Archer is a freaking strikeout machine. That bodes well.
