Literally? That sounds dangerous.

Nah, it was a pretty harmless movie.

it really is amazing. the week it came out, i bought it on friday with the intent of watching it with the whole family, as my oldest daughter and i were the only ones who had seen it. but my kids had a sleepover and the wife worked, so i watched it by myself. i watched it again saturday with my youngest daughter and her friends, then i watched it sunday with the wife.

i'm not sure i ever watched a movie 3 times in 3 days. and i loved every minute of it.

i got "batman begins" on blu-ray the other day, and i was amazed at how much better "the dark knight" was. "begins" was great, but it seemed like a warm up for the "knight." not in the same league. makes me bone for the next installment.

I found myself doing something similar though not 3 in 3 days but close. The quality of the movie simply does not fade away and I think this is a movie that will stand the test of time. For me the difference maker was how the Joker was portrayed in this movie. Truly amazing how they pulled it off. Ledger deserves a post humous award. The caliber of performance is simply hard to match.
