The Changeling - phan - 01-05-2009
Watched a DivX rip of it last night and thought it was a great movie. Good acting and a great story.
I could see it winning quite a few oscars.

I just watched this movie and also thought it was a great movie. Jolie and Malkovich really disappear into their characters. I didn't know anything about this story and it's crazy that it happened the way it did.

Completely unrelated, and I have a soft spot for that horror movie. This one is about a woman whose son goes missing and has to do with a perceived LAPD conspiracy when the boy is found. The mother rejects the boy as a fake and is sent to an asylum and publicly humiliated by the LAPD. I won't spoil the details for anyone, but it's based on true events.
Anyway, it's very well done, but I think it's just very good, not a great film. A 3 star film.
