Besides Stanton and Fox, the pitchers invited include left-handers Ed Campusano, J.R. Mathes, Matt Smith, Jason Waddell and Bill White and right-handers Esmailin Caridad, Andrew Cashner, Ken Kadokura and Rocky Roquet.
The list also includes catchers Welington Castillo, and Steve Clevenger; infielders Darwin Barney, Andres Blanco, Luis Rivas and Bobby Scales; and outfielders Doug Deeds and Jason Dubois.
Stanton, 41, has not pitched since 2007, when he made 69 relief appearances for the Reds. His 1,178 career appearances rank second all-time among southpaw pitchers, behind Jesse Orosco's 1,252.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
