No line on the horizon - johnr42 - 03-02-2009 The new U2 album is streaming on U2.com. It's pretty good, a lot more gritty then the last couple of albums. More of a Achtung Baby type feel to it. Track 2 (probably be a good club track once it is remixed a bit) and 3 are my favorites so far. No line on the horizon - liner - 03-03-2009 Comcast Ondemand is playing like 9 full concerts right now of theirs' No line on the horizon - ruby23 - 03-03-2009 I loath Bono. No line on the horizon - Brock - 03-03-2009 I've never listened to a U2 album. No line on the horizon - Jody - 03-03-2009 The Jousha Tree and Rattle and Hum are about the only albums worth listening to. No line on the horizon - veryzer - 03-03-2009 1. "rattle and hum" is probably their worst album ever. "all i want is you" is the only decent song. 2. "the joshua tree", "acthung baby", "the unforgettable fire", and "war" are classics. 3. "zooropa" may be my all time favorite u2 album 4. "boy", "pop" and "all that you can't leave behind" are also solid albums. 5. u2 are easily one of my all time favorite bands. easily. probably #4 or 5 on my list. "dirty day", "stay", "lemon", and "zooropa" are all on my list. the song with johnny cash is great as well. No line on the horizon - rok - 03-03-2009 I lost what little respect I had left for U2 when they released Pop. That album was a joke. I've never taken them seriously since the mid 90s. No line on the horizon - liner - 03-03-2009 I'm down, almost word for word, with Butch and Tom but Achtung Baby is my favorite. A lot of people hated Pop but I didn't. I have to admit I sort of got in to All That You Can't Leave Behind but not the last one they put out. I saw them at soldier field for Pop twice and the United Center for All That You... twice and the time right after 911 was very emotional. I've had a blast each time I've seen them. No line on the horizon - veryzer - 03-03-2009 "pop" had some great songs on it. there were some misses too, but there were a lot of good songs on "pop." Hawkmoon, and God part 2 are also great songs. 2-October isn't a classic album, but it's pretty great. 3- Joshua Tree might be my favorite rock album ever. "Where the Streets Have No Name" could be the perfect rock song. 4- Not a fan of Pop or Zooropa, but the last 2 albums have been OK. No line on the horizon - cigar - 03-03-2009 I can not stand Get On Your Boots. I am sorry but that song is fucking terrible. |
