Here's the thing, to sox fans there is always a win win when it comes to playing the Cubs. If they win, they are happy the Cubs lost. If the Cubs win, that's ok since they'll take more pleasure in watching the Cubs scuffle the rest of the season.
You see, it is better to be a sox fan because their hate for the Cubs is constant, whereas their love for the sox comes and goes. They will always be happy as long as the Cubs don't win a WS.
