July 2nd Record - Runnys - 07-03-2009

It still amazes me that as awful as we have played we are only 2.5 games out of first. That should scare the rest of the division because if we get our heads out of our asses we will run away with this division. We have got to kick ass this homestand to show that this team is not going to just die.

Sad part is the NL East is even worse.

July 2nd Record - rok - 07-03-2009

1989 was one of my favorite seasons ever and I can't believe we were only 42-38 at this point back then. Gives me some hope.

July 2nd Record - funkster - 07-03-2009

I can't believe we were only one game over in '07...it feels like we've lost a lot more this year lol

July 2nd Record - Ace - 07-03-2009

The Cubs have played very few games this year.

Yeah, it's weird that we're not even at the 81-game / halfway point.
I suppose it's a good thing that we've missed a lot of games before the team inevitably gets its' act together.
