Koyie Hill - Kid - 07-27-2009 Since he first came up in 2007, the Cubs are 49-22 when Koyie Hill starts (which really can't be attributed to the great team record last year as he only started 2 games). 2007: 25-8 2008: 1-1 2009: 23-13 Coincidence? Koyie Hill - rok - 07-28-2009 I like the way he handles Z and Harden. Just going by memory, it seems like the times he has gotten a lot of starts have coincided with the team getting hot at the plate. It's hard for us to really know how much pitchers like pitching to him and how much that plays into it, but yeah they're doing well with him. Still, he's gotta get a day off, whether we like him or not. It's hard enough to squat back for there 3 hours for 1 game, imagine doing it for weeks straight. Let him have some rest. Koyie Hill - kbwsb - 07-28-2009 I'm up for it. In fact, I've always thought that teams should play two catchers throughout the season, almost like a platoon. Catching is about 5 times more physically and mentally demanding than any other defensive position, and MLB plays almost every day for six months. Koyie Hill - Coach - 07-28-2009 We should DH for Hill. Koyie Hill - veryzer - 07-28-2009 over the same span, what's the cubs record when he doesn't start? Koyie Hill - Jody - 07-28-2009 I'm not a wabbit. I need some wessssssst. Koyie Hill - Croz - 07-28-2009 Hill is solid. Nothing more, nothing less. I've been very pleased with him as the backup this year. Koyie Hill - 1060Ivy - 07-28-2009 As I don't believe the Cubs have ever won a World Series without a 3 fingered player on the roster, Koyie Hill has a role on this team. He provides what you need for a back up, defensive minded catcher.
