The Muskrat has an article about it. It could be a negotiating tactic, but it sounds like it could also be serious.

Look at the map below. They're all bunched together in Arizona (other than the two in Tucson). They're all over the fucking state in Florida.

Have you ever been to spring training? It's a blast. And it draws a ton of fans. I read somewhere that Cubs fans alone spend $31M in the city of Mesa during spring training.

Like I said before, the setup in Arizona is way better. All of the stadiums are within a few miles of each other. Look at the map. The stadiums in Florida are spread out all over the state. It simply isn't comparable.
