I could care less about Johnson. He is easily replaced. I just think we should offer arbitration to Harden. he'd proabably accept and I believe he is wortht the risk on a 1 year deal. Plus, he's a Type A FA, so if he declines we get prospects.

I missed that part, but type b is better than A, from the Cubs perspective, as it makes it more likely Harden would get signed by someone else, and therefore more likely the Cubs can take the chance of offering arbitration.
