He has degenerative back troubles, which isn't good for any player, much less one of his ilk. We dodged a bullet in missing out on him. He just signed a large extension and is getting up there in years.

Yeah, but I still wonder if he could have made a difference for us in the playoffs during that 2007-08 stretch. Probably not, but no reason to waste time speculating about it.
