None of this makes sense to me. Just because my team sucked last year doesn't mean I don't have 3 quality keepers, which means I'm in the same boat as everyone else heading into the draft.
If we were keeping the majority of our rosters then I would strongly agree that we should go worst to first but in theory you could have the 3 best keepers and still finish in last if the rest of your team was shitty.
Plus as Fella said, a snake draft works out most of the discrepancies in draft order anyway.

Sure, you can trade keepers, you just need to make arrangements prior to the draft. Runnys is not in the league.

So, I guess we still need to get this draft order thing resolved, and only half of the teams have weighed in on it.
I went ahead and created a poll on the league page, and sent out an e-mail. If everyone could cast their vote ASAP, it would be appreciated.

I dont want to make a big issue out of this since I am the "new guy", but I made my decision to join the league based on the status of the team (roster and position for the future.) Obviously, I have had no say in the making of this team so it puts me at a disadvantage to others in the league. Likewise, no one can accuse me of tanking to secure the last place finish. Thanks

I understand. I was discussing it with Rotodestroyer and he made a really good point. 3 players don't make a fantasy baseball team. Looking over the other teams in the league, I don't think anyone has 3 clear cut keepers, and looking over my past teams, it's the guys that I took in the later rounds, or guys that I claimed on waivers that really made the biggest difference. Basically, I think we're all starting off on relatively even footing (though Arod's injury certainly doesn't help you), and randomizing the order shouldn't have that big of an effect on how anyone's team finishes. Plus randomizing the order will hopefully encourage everyone to keep their teams competitive to the end of the season.
