Without looking it up, I'm guessing we've played a lot of games against teams with winning records. Padres at Cubs 5/12/09 - rok - 05-12-2009 Good win all around. I still want Peavy. Kind of a weird take on strength of schedule. Unfortunately to me it appears to be comparing apples to pomegranates. Padres at Cubs 5/12/09 - Butcher - 05-12-2009 This site should help explain it. It could get pretty interesting if they decide to add a solid starter at the deadline again though. They have a lot more trade chips than we do. They don't have too much left to deal outta their farm, so to add an arm, they'd potentially have to be taking away from somewhere else on their MLB club. After dealing LaPorta I doubt they would deal another one of those guys though.
