Ascanio looked good today, I like that kid. Good movement on the fastball, good changeup, good cutter, decent slurve. Good control on everything but the slurve. I'd rather see him starting, but he looks good out of then pen too.

I'd rather have him in the pen right now with how good our rotation is, especially if he keeps throwing strikes like today. He also has very little experience as a starter, I think he's only gone over 5 innings once this year and had made only 10 starts in all of his minor league years before this, going back to 2003.
