It's really fucking sad and I get all pissed off when I start thinking about what could've been. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> If not for Bartman, I think his arm would have completely gone out during his WS clinching victory, and he would have never pitched again. Milton Bradley sucks - Fly - 06-05-2009 Hendry needs to wise up and put Bradley on the DL. I wasn't aware that the third year vested after 75 games, I thought the Cubs were on the hook for it regardless. There's no doubt now, though, that he's gonna hit 75 games this year and then probably miss 130 each of the next two seasons. Milton Bradley sucks - Fella - 06-05-2009 If he really will be back in the lineup by the Houston series, then I can understand not putting him on the DL, but I'll believe that when I see it. Milton Bradley sucks - rok - 06-05-2009 Between Bradley and Soriano, in 2 years' time we're gonna have 30 million in wasted salary on two guys in their mid-30s. Nice job, Jim. I doubt you'll still be employed by then anyway. Milton Bradley sucks - ColoradoCub - 06-09-2009 <!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Milton Bradley (calf) is back in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Astros. Bradley took early batting practice and convinced manager Lou Piniella that he was ready to play. Micah Hoffpauir was originally in Piniella's lineup before Bradley changed his mind.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> What does this put him at, 40 games? Just watch, he's going to pull up lame in the 2nd inning after he draws a walk. Plus, he played for USC, which has a MUCH tougher schedule than Strasburg's SD State. I think it was the right pick at the time. Milton Bradley sucks - rok - 06-09-2009 Bradley is one of the most frustrating hitters to watch. I've never seen a guy take so many called 3rd strikes or ground weakly to the 2B on full counts. He will blow out his elbow within 3 years. Milton Bradley sucks - Butcher - 06-09-2009 Bradley's best swing of the season right there. Milton Bradley sucks - kbwsb - 06-10-2009 Did he really go 0-for-6 tonight? When is this guy going to start hitting? Milton Bradley sucks - kbwsb - 06-10-2009 Yeah. A win is a win. And he's hit his entire life...that's why I keep expecting things to click for him. We all saw in ST how dynamic he is when he's ripping the ball. Milton Bradley sucks - Mikey - 06-10-2009 10 LOB |
