My fear is that with all of this scrutiny with the DUI, the Sox might reverse course and not keep Larussa. If there is one thing that can help scuttle a young dynamic team, its a drunk old schooler who hates fun. Larussa has to be kept around to grind this team into the ground.

I get that they were aware of it and it didnt stop them. By they I mean Jerry. But theres seems to be a lot of national journalists commenting on this and I can see a possible reaction from the Sox to mitigate this. By the way, untraditional way to pick a guy with sooo much experience thats been out of a managerial job for almost a decade and doesnt seem to care for political correctness nor saber metrics nor use of performance enhancing drugs. Well, seems hes got a bit of a problem with drinking and driving. Hes just had another incident recently.
