Wow.... that is horrible

I was watching him pitch last night and was impressed. That's a huge blow to the Angels in several different ways. He was their #1 prospect and expected to be a big part of the rotation. Obviously worst of all the entire team has to deal with that tragedy now.

Awful. My friend was good friends with Nick and always talked about how Nick was the nicest guy. He was so nervous before his big league debut last year and then got knocked around, sent back to AAA after after a few starts. It really hurt Nick and he didn't know if he could pitch in the bigs, as he'd been dominating his whole life, then these guys are knocking him around. Now he comes back and absolutely dominates, surely goes out to celebrate the win, and this happens. So freaking sad.

Alright, now I'm starting to get really worried. A couple people are posting on my friend's facebook to please call them back and let them know he's okay. He goes out to drink with the guys after the game a lot and I know he was closest to Nick. He's not answering my calls. Been my best friend since we were 4 years old. Ugh.
