Wow, Soriano now leads both leagues in outfield errors.

Cubs @ Phillies 7/20/09 - Destined - 07-20-2009

They say you are what you eat. I see that makes us the fucking Nationals.

Cubs @ Phillies 7/20/09 - Butcher - 07-20-2009

We caught whatever disease the Nats have.

Cubs @ Phillies 7/20/09 - Clapp - 07-20-2009

Overreacting a bit guys? We're playing a team on the road that are the defending champs and had won 8 in a row. We had a pitcher going that clearly has a knee bothering him, and in a park that will destroy the ERA of a left-handed flyball pitcher.

Cubs @ Phillies 7/20/09 - Clapp - 07-20-2009

Jeff Stevens really has a nasty curveball. Like what he's shown in his few games.

Cubs @ Phillies 7/20/09 - jeffy - 07-20-2009

This loss doesn't bother me much. What bothers me is the ESPN guys....and I'd feel better about it if we could score some runs.

Yeah I'm really glad I don't have to deal with them. It's the same stories every damn broadcast, and worst of all, it's Steve Phillips analyzing them.

They are one game under .500 at home. Or, they were before tonight.

I have MLB.tv, but I'm too lazy to hook my laptop up to my TV so it's easier to get HD via ESPN.

I know we're losing because Lilly's knee caused him to suck it up and it's a hitter's park, but that doesn't explain why our offense is failing in the same hitter's park. But if we can win at least one I'll be content.

They've won 9 of their last 10 there. They're the hottest team in baseball right now.

I don't understand why you give all these guys the rest of the night off and leave Aramis in with his shoulder. Let him have some rest. Leave somebody like Lee in over him.

Oh, I fully expected to lose this series. It would have been nice to at least show some life, though.

Absolutely.

Wow. That's some insane opposite field power.

STOP IT. FUCKING STOP IT. This season is where it is, these are the players we have. FUCKING GET OVER IT. I'm so sick of this shit.

I wasn't serious.

I don't believe that at all.

It was sarcasm directed at Matthew Clapp.

No, it definitely wasn't.
