Except when he's in a Cards uniform, just like Holliday.

A Cards uniform is woven of magic material that takes even least talented and most forgotten players, and turns them to gold. Mark Prior must be taking note.

Alf can be infuriating at times, but we're not in first without him. Without Miles, well...he has made absolutely no impact whatsoever.

Now this I disagree with. Put Fox in LF full time and we have as many, if not a few more wins. Fox cannot be any worse in the field or on the basepaths and is a much better hitter. Soriano blows. It's about time everyone recognizes it and quits making excuses for him.

It's way too early to say that. And Butch is right, we're not in first without him. People forget what he did for us in April when nobody else was hitting.

Soriano is a lazy half-assed fuck with no focus unless he's holding a bat. If I never see another hop or the hand in front of the face or a point to a dugout from him it will be fine with me. I'm ready for him to announce that he's the luckiest man on the face of the earth.

Cubs @ Reds 8/5 - vegascub - 08-05-2009

This fucker is going to throw a complete game shutout.

Cubs @ Reds 8/5 - Coach - 08-05-2009

Lehr has topped out at 87 tonight.

Cubs @ Reds 8/5 - Clapp - 08-05-2009

And every fucking ball we hit hard tonight is right at a guy.

All shutouts are complete games. There is no such thing as a non complete game shutout. Sorry to be a prick, but this is one of my pet peeves and Soriano has me pissed off.

Doesn't help that they have a hell of an infield with Rolen and Phillips.

Better than a perfect no-hitter.

I think he means 9 shutout innings, as opposed to shutting them out for 7 or 8 or whatever, and then having a reliever come in, prick.
