More steroid shit - veryzer - 07-30-2009 i lose mass in my balls every day. The effects are negligble compared to juicing, and some people have questioned if it helps in any way. I don't know where you're coming up with that, but that's not correct. HGH is a proven to slow aging effects and is used to help people with developmental problems. It does what steroids can do and then some. It also helps your vision, can increase muscle mass, and make recovery time minimal. Sorry KB, but you're just way wrong here.
Rube, I may be. I really don't know that much about it, other than what I've read on baseball web sites. Maybe someone like Payton can give us the real info. If you guys are correct (it's really helpful, and it's legal), why aren't 100% of all players using HGH?
Possession of HGH without a prescription is way illegal. I mean, you can't just go to the store and pick it up. Actually, you can't go anywhere and pick it up. There's not a pharmacy in the country that has it, and I think it has to be administered by a physician or under direction of one. More steroid shit - ruby23 - 07-30-2009 Also, I'll bet there's tons of people in LA using it to combat aging and getting it from doctors due to false diagnosis' for some sort of deficiency. More steroid shit - veryzer - 07-30-2009 maybe kb thought it was legal in baseball because it's not tested for. the reason it isn't tested for is because it's undetectable in the urine. you have to have a blood test and that wasn't in the agreement. More steroid shit - Lance - 07-30-2009 I dated a nurse who worked in a clinic where the physician routinely adminstered testosterone injections. He viewed it as doing pretty much the same thing as HGH. I always wondered if it was ethical. More steroid shit - Gad - 07-30-2009 Seems to me like now would be a logical time for guys like Bonds, Clemens, McGwire etc. to give their mea culpa. It is now evident that an overwhelming majority of stars from the past 20 years were roiding and I think it would greatly help their HoF chances if they just came clean. More steroid shit - Butcher - 07-30-2009 I'd be more than a little hesitant to start using HGH. Human growth hormone is secreted in our bodies to promote cell growth. And what is cancer? Cancer is basically unbridled cell growth. As an adult, when you're full-sized and done growing, many doctors agree that you're increasing your risk of cancer by a pretty high factor if you start using HGH. I won't be surprised if a lot of these ballplayers are diagnosed with various forms of cancer within the next decade. More steroid shit - Coach - 07-30-2009 Everything causes cancer, apparently.
