soi keeper fantasy football - Ace - 08-25-2010 So... two keepers? and you give up the pick a round before the round where the guy was taken to keep the guy (unless it's the first round, in which case you give up a first rounder, and you can't keep your second rounder)? Also, how do I find out who was on my team (Royale wif Cheese) at the end of the season (i.e., in case Coldneck was crafty and picked up someone that I want to keep)? Or is that un-possible? soi keeper fantasy football - Fella - 08-25-2010 Its possible to see final rosters, I posted the link earlier in the thread, not sure if you could see them Ace, but anyone who was in the league should be able to. I can post the final roster for Royale Cheese. soi keeper fantasy football - Fella - 08-25-2010 Here are the final rosters http://archive.fantasysports.yahoo.com/arc.../361182/rosters and here is the final roster for Royale withCheese, in case you cant see it Ace Kevin Boss (NYG - TE) 0 0 0 16 0 567 5 0 0 0 82 Donald Brown (Ind - RB) 0 0 0 281 3 169 0 0 0 0 57 Correll Buckhalter (Den - RB) 0 0 0 642 1 240 0 0 0 2 79 Donald Driver (GB - WR) 0 0 0 13 0 1061 6 0 0 1 135 Frank Gore (SF - RB) 0 0 0 1120 10 406 3 0 0 2 214 Greg Jennings (GB - WR) 0 0 0 0 0 1113 4 0 2 0 133 Donovan McNabb (Was - QB) 3553 22 10 140 2 1 0 0 2 3 267 Robert Meachem (NO - WR) 0 0 0 82 0 722 9 0 0 1 130 Zach Miller (Oak - TE) 0 0 0 0 0 805 3 0 0 0 91 Steve Smith (NYG - WR) 0 0 0 0 0 1220 7 0 0 0 158 Jason Snelling (Atl - RB) 0 0 0 613 4 259 1 0 0 1 103 DeAngelo Williams (Car - RB) 0 0 0 1117 7 252 0 0 1 3 166 Roy Williams (Dal - WR) 0 0 0 0 0 596 7 0 0 1 93 Lawrence Tynes (NYG - K) 0 10 11 5 1 0 2 2 1 0 45 128 Denver (Den - DEF) 306 39.0 0 17 13 2 1 143 Minnesota (Min - DEF) 288 48.0 1 11 13 1 1 132 soi keeper fantasy football - Fella - 08-25-2010 BTW your team took 2nd in the regular season Acey Pants, not a bad team at all, Steve Smith wasn't even drafted last year, I don't think, so you could keep him for a last round pick? Is that right? Obviously that's open to discussion, but it's tough getting the easy stuff out the way. soi keeper fantasy football - liner - 08-25-2010 i think keeping an undrafted with at least a 6th is fine. i only remember 1 guy on my team at the moment but i'm still down for 3 keepers. if it goes the other way i won't bitch though soi keeper fantasy football - Fella - 08-25-2010 Keeping an un-drafted with a 6th seems sorta brutal, when you could keep a 15th rounder with a 14. I'm not sure what most leagues do about that though. I wouldn't be keeping any un-drafteds so whatever works is fine. I prefer 2 keepers, especially in a 10 team league with only 16 roster spots. If everyone kept 3, you'd be looking at close to 20% of the league being keepers. soi keeper fantasy football - cigar - 08-25-2010 Two keepers is fine. One of my keepers might possibly be someone I picked up off of the waiver wire but was drafted. So would I lose the a pick in the round before where he was drafted or a 6th since he was on the waiver wire? I am assuming the round from where he was drafted but want to make sure. soi keeper fantasy football - Ace - 08-25-2010 <!--quoteo(post=112294:date=Aug 25 2010, 06:00 PM:name=Fella)-->QUOTE (Fella @ Aug 25 2010, 06:00 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->Keeping an un-drafted with a 6th seems sorta brutal, when you could keep a 15th rounder with a 14. The last round might be a bit cheap, though. Maybe something like the 10th round is a compromise? soi keeper fantasy football - BT - 08-25-2010 <!--quoteo(post=112311:date=Aug 25 2010, 07:41 PM:name=Ace)-->QUOTE (Ace @ Aug 25 2010, 07:41 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec--><!--quoteo(post=112294:date=Aug 25 2010, 06:00 PM:name=Fella)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Fella @ Aug 25 2010, 06:00 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->Keeping an un-drafted with a 6th seems sorta brutal, when you could keep a 15th rounder with a 14. Maybe something like the 10th round is a compromise? <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> We experimented quite a bit with this in the keeper league I've been in for a while. Basically the 6th round was settled upon for a couple reasons. Any guy you pick up off of waivers was available in the 15th round, and no one took them. You should not not be rewarded to that extent for picking up a guy. On the other hand, you should get SOME credit for finding a good guy on the waiver wire, so after a lot of experimentation, we settled on the 6th. It's a mid round pick, so it's a compromise. Obviously if you guys all want to change it, that's fine, but since getting 10 guys to respond, let alone agree, is difficult, I'm throwing this stuff out there because nearly every problem we are discussing is a problem that my league has dealt with already. <!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Two keepers is fine. Once a guy is cut (NOT traded), his draft position no longer matters. He becomes a free agent just like anyone else. soi keeper fantasy football - liner - 08-25-2010 still down with a 6th rounder. every year there's a stud or two that goes undrafted and studs should cost something. i like Bt's explanation. reward an owner for finding him, but don't reward him too much when luck has a lot to do with it. soi keeper fantasy football - liner - 08-25-2010 also, everyone who's in the league is on here sometimes. i say we take those who don't speak out either way when rules are being discussed are just considered to be cool with whatever's decided in this thread. soi keeper fantasy football - bz - 08-26-2010 Can someone post my teams roster at the end of the season?
