Aramis wants to be a Cub for life - kbwsb - 03-07-2009 I agree that Gold Gloves are not a hard and fast measure of a fielder's prowess, but if by the age of 28, one guy has won 5 of them, and at the age of 30 the other guy hasn't won any, it's pretty safe to say that the 5GG guy is likely an elite fielder, and the other guy isn't. I had no ideas what his numbers look like, i've just seen him play extraordinary defense.
