Cubs-White Sox In Vegas Part 2 - jeffy - 03-05-2009

I was on the phone and had the volume turned down, so did they say what was up with Bako's nose?

Dude just scorches the ball, I'm excited to see a full season of him and think he'll put up better numbers than DeRo.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Fontenot is definitely one of my favorite players right now.

Nah, they just kept laughing about it because Theriot and Shark each had a bandage on their nose mocking him. Randy Bush didn't seem to know either.

Awkward 7th inning stretch with Jim Belushi singing.

That Barney kid reminds me a little of Derek Jeter.

Huh? What? No.

The interview was even more awkward. I believe Belushi said he was at the game with some strippers and they were looking to meet Bob. He then said, "Nah I'm just here by myself", but a good 10 seconds of awkward silence before that.

Yeah, Belushi seems a bit loopy these days......

He doesn't have near the offensive skills but that's the guy he's most compared to because of his position, the way he plays the game, and that he's a winner. He won 2 titles at Oregon State and was the heart and soul of that team, and same with the USA team where he won a gold medal. I like him a lot and he might not have a high ceiling, but I think he's going to play in the big leagues.

The Belushi is the biggest embarrassment to Cubs fans with the possible exception of Blaggo.

I actaully had never heard about him before yesterday. Just that his batting stance looks a lot like Jeter's and he also plays shorstop. Wish him the best.

I like Andres Blanco's shoes, BTW.

The Japanese dude Kadokura is in. 93 mph on the first pitch. Damn, then 96. Doesn't seem to have any idea where it's going though, walks Restobitch.
