That's the most blatantly racist comment I've ever heard.

It's the Chicago media's fault he sucks in Seattle. They tainted him.

Frustrated Mariner fans booing their own players? Inconceivable.

I understand booing Bradley -- I'm pretty sure everyone does at this point. But booing Griffey? Holy fuck...certainly you can see that booing Griffey is outrageous.

My point isn't that it's outrageous or not, but that it happens everywhere, all the time, to everyone. Always has, always will.

I don't know...booing an icon like Griffey Jr. might shave a few days off that number.

Are they really booing him?

When they start booing Griffey as he is announced for an AB, then we can talk.

QUOTE A source tells Mike Salk of 710 ESPN in Seattle that Milton Bradley left the team in the middle of Tuesday's game against the Rays. Bradley was frustrated after striking out looking with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning. He yelled at the umpire from the bench until Mariners manager Don Wakamatsu warned him to settle down. Just minutes later Bradley reportedly told Wakamatsu, "I'm packing my stuff. I'm out of here." Mariners General Manager Jack Zduriencik didn't address the matter specifically on Wednesday, other than to say something that happens between the manager and his players should be handled internally. We're guessing that Wakamatsu might not have to worry about Bradley much longer.

Par for the course.

Or if they boo him when he comes out for introductions at the home opener.

Wow. Just...wow. Even if that called third strike was the worst call in the history of baseball..."I'm packing my stuff. I'm out of here???"

That's me at age eleven, pitching a fit at summer camp.

He really is a fucking lunatic.

Do we really need 27 pages of this same topic?

I think it's time for a new thread.

Here's alittle more:

QUOTE Source: Bradley left the team mid-game
By Mike Salk

The Mariners appear to have a serious problem. Milton Bradley left the team last night in the middle of the game. Bradley apparently left after striking out looking in the sixth inning with the bases loaded.

According to a source, Bradley yelled at the umpire from the bench before being told by Don Wakamatsu to cool it. Wakamatsu said that he would handle the umpire himself. Bradley responded that someone had to say something and that if Wak wouldn't, then he would.
According to the source, a few minutes later Bradley walked back over to the skipper and said, "I'm packing my stuff. I'm out of here." And then he left.

Mariners General Manager Jack Zduriencik said Bradley is still a member of the team. "Milton is part of what we're doing," he told me this morning. "Anything that happens between a manager and his players should be handled internally. Sometimes tempers flare over the course of a season. Wakamatsu thought it was time for Milton to come out."

Baseball has a lot of "unwritten rules" and people love to rag on it. But one of the best is that players have to be their for their team and their teammates. If Bradley left his team in the middle of a game (a winnable one no less), then how can his teammates know to trust him going forward?

Because two threads makes more sense than the 28th page?

As I said in another thread, basically getting Byrd & Silva for him might go down as another great move by Jim.

That would already be true if Byrd and Silva were found dead today, in a murder/suicide pact in their secret love nest.
