Not ours, but somebody's. I think he can still be a serviceable bench bat. 2010 Minor League Roundup - kbwsb - 05-30-2010 I don't know if you guys realize it from the box score, but for the past two nights in a row, our Triple A team (Iowa) has lost by surrendering a come-from-behind, bottom-of-the-9th, Kirk Gibson-like home run. You have to admit, that's crazy. 2010 Minor League Roundup - Ace - 05-30-2010 I remember that Chen was heralded a bit two years ago, and then fell off the map a bit. Is he putting himself back on the radar as a solid prospect? I know every team probably thinks this about themselves, but it seems like we are loaded, loaded with good pitching prospects. 2010 Minor League Roundup - Kid - 05-31-2010 May 30: ![]() CODE R H E Iowa (26-23) 5 8 1 Nashville (28-21) 3 11 0 WP: Justin Berg (1-1) LP: A.J. He was good early on as a starter, but then had some shoulder (or elbow?) problems. Mariners made him a reliever, and he was terrible. They released him, he had some surgery, and tried to come back in the independent leagues. Cubs grabbed him, made him a starter again, and he's been dominant (if a bit old) for two years now. His WHIP this year is a hilarious 0.77. 2010 Minor League Roundup - Scarey - 06-03-2010 Dolis needs to be in Tennessee yesterday. 2010 Minor League Roundup - cigar - 06-03-2010 I must have missed it somewhere but did Brett Jackson fall off a cliff? |
