From the time I first volunteered to commish(noone else stepped up) until now....I havent made one transaction that grossly benefits only my team.
I admitted months ago,while you all were happy with how the draft went,that I took over ownership of a few unowned teams in order to benefit the league.I set that teams draft list and released some guys from LM if said team was over 10. I havent checked but I'm pretty certain none of those guys are on my team.
I dont think any of the guys that you are referring to have ended up on my team. Cherp,Runnys, Liner....just off the top of my head now own players that were dropped from unowned teams. Maybe I didnt check said players out well enough before I released them. I dont really know or care anymore. I did what I did and I'll live with it.
As far as trades I made....I can honestly say that NO trade was made with an unowned team. When I came into the league and took over a crappy team I traded away every decent player for future draft picks. Hell...I think I made a trade with almost every single team over a two season period.If someone has enough of a burr in his ass he can go back 3 seasons and cross match all the trades,draft picks, and follow up trades.....I'm sure my team didnt benefit in the long run. Hell....my team is worse off now. The trade that Brock referenced above was made back when Fellas 'OLD' team was owned.By who? I have no proof but a few ideas.Like I have stated as fact from the beginning....No trades I made were made between me and an unowned team They were owned at the time.
I guess what all this boils down to is that obviously I wont commish anymore. I will set the league to public and ask Brian to remove myself and any of the old commishes. Gee...maybe Brian and or whoever can sort all this out.
I apologize for my minor mistakes but I can smell a witchhunt when I see one. Hell...Ive been in enough of successful ones to know what is going on.
This is my my ONLY response to this. I will set the league to public and ask Brian to remove all commishes. All future complaints can be directed to him. Maybe he can sort this out and answer some of your questions.
If someone else has a better idea or two...lets hear it.

Its really sad that it has to end like this...with wrong accusations.
I may not be completely innocent but i'm certainly not the guilty raging cheating lunatic that I'm being accused of.
I'm thinking I should be done with CSFBL and even though I was a founder of SOI...I think its time to move on. Brock,Liner,Gad, and anyone else who has come along and wants to act like big shit....you can have it.

The only reason I signed Maxwell is because no one gives a shit about the league anymore. The only reason I am still doing it is because I refuse to just let my team die since i have been in from the beginning.

I'm just looking for answers for a bunch of stuff that frankly looks like total BS. I can't imagine how that trade I referenced up above could have possibly been made, considering that Fella's team has been unowned for a while now, if I'm remembering correctly. And I still can't fathom how those two guys I mentioned in my original post here were dropped from Ace's team unless you, as the only active commish, did it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Payton or Fella, who are the only other people with access to take over other teams. If it was a mistake, it was a mistake, but when you were the one with an immediate claim on the one guy after he was mysteriously dropped, you'll just have to pardon me if it looks a little bit fishy.
Luckily, as I've said plenty recently, no one really gives much of a shit about the league anymore. Otherwise I'm sure these things would have been brought up much sooner than they were.

I'll be honest. I probably started the ball rolling on this but to call it a witch hunt is ridiculous. I had no idea that "dnb2hunt" was you, Cap. In fact when I made my first post asking questions about the situation I even referred to "dnb2hunt" as the "outside commissioner" (Runnys and Brock among others saw this post before I edited it so they can confirm this) because I had no idea it was you. I have seen you post on the main CSFBL forums before but it was as "Captain". So to think this is some sort of vendetta against you simply isn't true.
I loved the SOI-CSFBL league. In fact, in a way it was the reason I joined SOI. So even though I was no longer in the league I would check on my old team and click on the league page to see who was still active. So one day I clicked on the transactions to see who was still paying attention and saw tons and tons of transactions involving the Clark Street Captains. I saw they were owned by dnb2hunt and didn't recognize the name so I assumed it was an outsider. I also noticed that many of the trades didn't make much sense so I started doing some research.
Initially I wasn't sure what to think until I saw a trade where the Captains acquired the 2010 1st Round pick(Reed) and another young stud(Eastman) from the Sandberg Rhinos, a team that was unowned (They were picked up today when the league went public but previously unowned for a substantial period of time). All that was sent back was complete garbage(Brown and Lynch) So I checked the 2010 draft thread and there was no record of the pick being traded and no owner to sign off on the trade..
So I looked a little closer and saw the trade with Fella's old team that Brock posted about. The Fellas were owned at the time by a dummy account that Mikey had set up simply to try and keep the league at 8/day sims. Mikey confirmed above that he was not involved in the transaction. It was once again a deal where the Captains gained studs and sent crap back in return.
After seeing that I made a post about it on the board. Runnys responded a bit later and said "wait that's Cap's team, why would he be making shady deals" so I immediately edited my post above to what it says now. But at that point things were in motion and more people mentioned to me that things looked shady.
Ultimately I do feel bad about how this went down. Had I known this was Cap I might have PM'ed him and said "hey this looks odd" but I definitely wouldn't have called him out on it. But this was never a witch hunt or a vendetta and it was certainly not some sort of power play on my part. I thought I was bringing your attention to an outsider tampering with the league.
So if you want to be pissed and blame me, go nuts. I'll get over it.
