Milton is everything I thought he'd be. Some guys just naturally always seem to be in the middle of things. Despite going 0-3, every at-bat was a fight to the death (and he did wait out a BB). He made 2 very fine plays in the field.
He should have caught that ball in the 9th (it looked like it hit the heel of his glove), but at least he gave it a serious all-out effort.
He's a very good ballplayer. He's entertaining as hell. The Cubs won.
Good times.

Well, he almost ended up on the DL twice tonight, so we escaped at least a few episodes on Opening Day.

Yup. I dig the hustle and intensity. He's going to be fun to watch, and I don't think he'll be a liability at all in RF.

Yeah he's not a problem in RF, I'd just rather have a better RF out there, as well as give Bradley rest when we don't "need" him like tonight in the 9th inning. But he's a fine right fielder.

He has a nice arm, too. He threw a bullet to Theriot early in the game.
