I'm saying it's kind of unfair to imply that Gorz has been terrible, but continues to get chances to stay in the rotation, when in actuality he's been pretty effective until today. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> I wasn't saying that Gorz has been terrible, but continues to get chances to stay in the rotation. He's had a bad outing today. That's all I was saying with my initial post. I still think either he or Silva (or maybe even Wells or Lilly at this point) should be in the pen instead of Zambrano. Pirates vs. Cubs 5/14/10 - jstraw - 05-14-2010 The argument (devil's advocacy) for Z over Sloth in the pen is that Lou didn't need a guy to kill innings in a blowout, he needed a guy that can get out of a jam and/or hold a lead for Marmol...and until Hendry can find that guy, Sloth isn't that guy and Z can be. |
