7/27 - willis - 07-28-2010 I was surprised Cashner blew up like he did. I am with those that think this kid is very impressive and seems to have a real handle out there on the mound. He just didn't seem like the same pitcher last night that he has been up to now. But, he's a rookie. And I really hate Lance Berkman. BTW-anyone know why Brett Myers has the cubs' number so badly this year? 7/27 - Butcher - 07-28-2010 <!--quoteo(post=108373:date=Jul 28 2010, 09:36 AM:name=willis)-->QUOTE (willis @ Jul 28 2010, 09:36 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->BTW-anyone know why Brett Myers has the cubs' number so badly this year?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> It isn't just this year. He has always owned us. His career stats against the Cubs: 9-3, 2.38 ERA, 95K in 94.2IP, 0.972 WHIP 7/27 - rok - 07-28-2010 I'm not starting a new game thread for today, but I couldn't help but feel my lunch come up on me when I saw today's lineup: R. Not sure there are a lot of good options. |
