Yep. If Soto's shot in the 2nd inning was a foot higher, it's gone. If this was a night game however, we wouldn't have had a shot in the 9th.

In all fairness, I couldn't be happier that Samardzija sucks. It would be torture if he was good. Can you imagine the Jaws music, and a shark chomp or a Jimmy Buffet "Fins" chant at Wrigley every time he came in?
