Hoyer was on WSCR this morning, and when the question came up about promoting Baez and Soler, while he didn't give a straight answer, he also didn't rule out a call-up later this year either. It sounded like mostly an issue of timing and not a question of development, which is encouraging.

I think just to get him a little bit of work at AAA first. He only has 28 ABs with Iowa. My guess is their thinking that the extended MLB rosters and end of the minor league season in September will line up pretty well with when he'd have seen a reasonable amount of AAA pitching before calling him up.
