Maybe this is the start of a hot streak. Won't get any hopes up as it's likely too little/too late in relation to the trade deadline, but they were bound to heat up at least a little after that horrid stretch.

No clue how long this streak will last but I’m enjoying the Cubs playing the best baseball they’ve played this season. Starters have been amazing. Defense and bullpen have been consistently good to solid. There’s been timely hitting. Roster has holes and they’ll be exposed again but for now it’s time to enjoy another - what seemed a week or even a day ago an unlikely - win
